The Conference will address how competitiveness in key sectors of the regional economy has been affected by the Dominican Republic-Central America-Free Trade Agreement (DR-CAFTA).
Sessions on Financing and on Trade will examine investment and trade trends since the passage of the legislation.
Concurrent roundtables focusing on the themes of Education, Logistics and Crime & Security will be catalysts for discussion on how these factors affect different industries’ short and long-term development and competitiveness.
Among the industries to be highlighted are Tourism, Manufacturing, Transportation, and Energy and the Environment, with a focus as well on Small and Medium Enterprises.
