Accounting services to be provided to multinationals in Guatemala

Genpact, a major business process outsourcing (BPO) firm, will establish an accounting center in Guatemala.

Guatemala is becoming an exporter of customer and accounting services thanks to the development of the call center and BPO sector.
One of the reasons Genpact was attracted to Guatemala was because the country has a modern telecommunications network and graduates an average of 60,000 accounting professional per year.

Concentrix Invests in Nicaragua

Concentrix, the global service provider and absolute subsidiary of the SYNNEX Corporation, announced it has established an international contact center in Nicaragua.

A press release by ProNicaragua reads:

The company, located in the capital, is able to hire 60 people in its first phase and plans to increase the figure to approximately 200 employees next year.

Teletech Call Center in Costa Rica Grows

The multinational service outsourcing company has a payroll of 1,200 employees and it expects to hire 700 more people.

Future employment increases will depend on demand for the company’s services, and "the incentives that the state might grant (in tax matters)."

The multinational company provides customer service outsourcing to Spanish and American companies.
