Agreement to Benefit Nicaraguan Growers

CEI, the Nicaraguan Center for Exports, closed an agreement with the Millennium Challenge Account to assist growers from the country’s west.

Five thousand farmers from the provinces of León and Chinandega will be trained to improve the quality of their crops and will receive assistance to identify international market opportunities for their products.

“Additionally, CEI will organize business roundtables, and trade mission for the farmers”, reported newspaper La Prensa.
