American companies to produce bio-fuels and energy in Guatemala

Sustainable Power Corp. acquired 1000 acres of land close to Guatemala City where they will built a biomass reactor and bio-fuel plant.

The release states that the agreement includes the construction of factory close to Guatemala City that will be used for testing and to start the production of bio-fuels. SSTP, a subsidiary, will spend $4 million to start operations.
John Rivera, president of Sustainable Power Corp., said that "the acquisition our intentions of expanding our business in Central America. When the plant is finished, it will produce renewable energy at a very competitive price for our clients in the region.
