Business Forum Starts in Nicaragua

Organized by ProNicaragua and the Superior Council of Private Enterprise (COSEP) the event "Nicaragua Growing Together" aims to attract investments in all sectors of the Nicaraguan economy.

The investment forum aims to gather together business owners and executives in the country to talk to a visiting group of investors about the business benefits on offer.

Lucia Navas writes in Laprensa.com that "Carlos Pellas Chamorro, president of Grupo Pellas, Ramiro Ortiz Mayorga, banker and president of Proamérica and Jose Antonio Baltodano, from Café Soluble SA, will head the delegation of the private event. "

The event will run from 16 to 18 August, will educate international guests on Nicaragua’s substantial and steady growth in different economic sectors in what is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for foreign investment.

Aguerri Adam Joseph, president of COSEP confirmed that cotton production this year will be reactivated with the support of Brazilian investors, attracted by the office of ProNicaragua, an organization that is dedicated to the promotion of foreign investment.
