Canadian Businessmen to Visit Guatemala

They will arrive as part of a trade mission organized by the Chamber of Guatemalan-Canadian Commerce.

Friday, November 18, 2011

In order to encourage trade and business generation between the two nations, the Chamber has organized a trade mission to Guatemala in February 2012.

Business people from various industries in Canada make up the group, which hopes to meet with both government officials and representatives of private companies.

This mission was announced after the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala signed an agreement for business cooperation with the Canadian-Guatemalan entity.

An article in S21.com.gt reports: "The event will take place with the support of the Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce (GCC). Both chambers yesterday signed a commercial cooperation agreement. The president of the GCC, Jorge Briz, recalled the importance of signing the Free Trade Agreement between the economies."
