Chapin and Central American Fair in Los Angeles

The 7th. Chapina Fair and Great Central American Pavilion promises to be a showcase for companies and sectors involved, who will be able to promote themselves in what constitutes a unique opportunity to promote products and / or services, make business contacts, expand portfolios, position brands, analyze new sources of investment, promote the image of the participating countries as well as presenting cultural characteristics of the region, all in an authentic Central American atmosphere.

Sectors involved are:
Food, beverages, crafts, real estate, vacation resorts, cell phone companies, airlines, electronics, media, healthcare, financial services, technology, textiles, pharmaceutical, government institutions, tourism, education, and health tourism among others.

Guatemalan Fair in the U.S. Scheduled for August

The sixth edition of the so called “Feria Chapina” (Guatemalan Fair), will take place at the Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, California, from August 27 to 29.

It is organized by Evefer (“Eventos y Ferias Internacionales”) and supported by the Government of Guatemala. Over 100 Central American companies are expected to participate.

Chapina Expo Hopes to Negotiate $50 Million

The fifth annual Chapina Expo will be held on July 24th through 26th at the Hollywood Park Casino, in Inglewood, California.

Juan Luis Martinez, President of the event, pointed out that they predict a visitor turnout of 50,000 people, 10,000 more than in 2008, of which about 60% are Guatemalans.

New York and LA to host Guatemalan fairs

For the second straight year, a Guatemalan Fair (La Feria Chapina) is to be held in New York, the promotion company Evefer announced. This year's event will be held from June 27 to 29.

A Guatemalan Fair will also be held in Los Angeles from August 22 to 24, said Juan Luis Martínez, Evefer's president.

Salvadoran Trade Fair in Los Angeles, USA

July 2009

From July 31 to August 2, over 100 Salvadoran companies will participate in the XIV Agostina Trade Fair in Los Angeles.

The event, organized by the "El Rescate" (The Rescue) Foundation, expects to receive 50.000 visitors. Financial services companies, real estate and investment projects, and tourism and exportable goods companies will be among the exhibitors.
