Chilean Trade Mission Visits El Salvador

7 years after a Free Trade Agreement was signed between both countries, Chilean entrepreneurs are looking for business opportunities in El Salvador.

Companies from the food, textile, services and metal mechanics industries will participate in business rounds.

Héctor Dada, Salvadoran economy minister, told newspaper Laprensagrafica.com: "With this mission, both governments seek to intensify trade and general relationships between the countries".

Canadian Businessmen to Visit Guatemala

November 2011

They will arrive as part of a trade mission organized by the Chamber of Guatemalan-Canadian Commerce.

In order to encourage trade and business generation between the two nations, the Chamber has organized a trade mission to Guatemala in February 2012.

Business people from various industries in Canada make up the group, which hopes to meet with both government officials and representatives of private companies.

Salvadoran Trade Mission in Cuba

Companies and businessmen will participate in the First Business Fair Cuba-El Salvador.

The meeting takes place as Salvadoran President, Mauricio Funes, visits the country. This is the first visit by a Salvadoran president in more than fifty years.

The business delegation includes pharmaceutical companies, medical supplies, construction and food among others.

Salvadoran Trade Mission to Visit Peru

The Salvadoran Economy Minister will join a delegation of businessmen when they visit Peru on March.

This trade mission could become the first step in the negotiation of a Free Trade Agreement between both countries.

Costa Rica Wants More Trade with BRIC

The Ministry of Foreign Trade will visit India between 15th and 25th March seeking new business opportunities,

Foreign Trade Minister, Anabel Gonzalez said that for the second semester a similar visit is planned to Russia and Brazil.

The visit to India is "... part of the plan to reach out to the group of countries known as BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China).
