Consultancy for Monitoring Rural Electrification Projects

Panama is looking for expressions of interest for providing consultancy services for the supervision of rural electrification projects.

The supervision services are aimed at monitoring the implementation of rural electrification projects and ensuring full compliance with all aspects of the specifications, timescales, and other agreements set forth in the contracts for implementation of the following projects:

1. Rural electrification projects via a network extension, including densification projects requiring network extension and rural residential electrical installations.

2. Projects that require only rural residential electrical installations.

3. Rural electrification projects in isolated systems based on renewable energy, solar PV systems. On a smaller scale, it also includes the monitoring of projects with micro and / or small hydro stations and other alternative technologies based on clean energy.

The Rural Electrification Office invites Consulting Firms from IDB member countries, with extensive experience in project supervision in the electricity sector and specific rural electrification, to submit expressions of interest to participate in the consultation: Monitoring Rural Electrification Projects in the Republic of Panama.
