Expo Industria is Costa Rica's biggest industry event. In this, the fifth time it is being held, the country's most important industries and sectors will be exhibiting, all under one roof. The sectors represented include metalworking, plastics, food, agrochemicals, services and other manufacturing industries from 10 countries in the Central America region.

Martha Castillo, executive vice-president of the Costa Rican Chamber of Industry (CICR in Spanish), told La Prensa Libre that, "we want to provide companies with the best opportunity to be competitive. Deals have to be gone out and looked for, and to be successful, they need to be made in an appropriate setting".
