Costa Rica: Properties in Digital Auction

Between September 13 and 21, Banco Nacional will auction 70 properties on the Internet.

The platform for electronic auction - www.subasta-cccbr.com was presented by the Costa Rican Chamber of Real Estate and Banco Nacional.

Chévez Diego, director of Banco Nacional 's assets told Nacion.com, "The auction goes online today (12 September) worldwide, the first properties we have for investors will appear here. They will come up for auction with prices discounted up to 50%. "

Once awarded the property, the buyer will be notified and then must make a deposit of between 10% and 50% of the value within 72 hours, said Aleyda Bonilla, chairman of the Chamber.

Few Sales in Online Real Estate Auction

Only three of the 70 properties offered were sold in the first digital auction organized by the Costa Rican Chamber of Real Estate.

The properties include lots, houses, condos, apartments and unfinished developments which form part of Banco Nacional de Costa Rica’s assets, repossessed from customers who defaulted on their loans.

Costa Rica: Electronic Auction of Vehicles and Scrap

On July 29 and August 5, the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) will auction 60 vehicles and a batch of scrap.

The auction for the lot of scrap is scheduled for July 29 and the vehicles for August 5, the Director of the Technical Secretariat of Digital Government, Alicia Avedaño told La Prensa Libre.

Cup of Excellence Guatemala

The tenth edition of the online auction ‘Cup of Excellence’ will include 41 lots and 67 samples of the best coffees.

The purpose of the competition is to identify exceptional coffees lots for auction online. The panel of judges is composed of 18 international tasters, two national and six international observers, who will select the winners, reported Prensalibre.com.
