Costa Rica: Tender for INS Building for $2.8 million

According to the specifications the tender is for the procurement of professional services (architectural and engineering) to conduct preliminary studies, preliminary design of construction drawings, specifications, detailed budget, carry out the demolition of the existing building and construct the new site for the National Insurance Institute using a prefabricated system in Guadalupe, San Jose.

It is essential that before submitting any offers, bidders take part in a technical visit, which will take place on 05 September 2011 at 9.00 am on the INS property located in Guadalupe opposite the Napoleon Quesada School and which will be coordinated by the architect Monica Martinez, Engineer Mr. Roberto Vargas, Architect Walter Navarro and Engineer José Chacón, officials of the Engineering Unit of the Department of General Services, phone 2287-6000, extension 2461.

Also, bidders must participate in the preceedings meeting, in order to have opportunity to present all concerns, requests for clarifications, modifications and other issues related to this tender.

This meeting, will be held on 09 September 2011, at 9.00 am on the 11th floor Auditorium located at the INS headquarters. However, in order to make the meeting more effective, bidders should submit their written comments to the Department of Suppliers no later than 08 September 2011.
