Only in firsts 19 days of May, $4,66 millions in TV imports had been declared. 73% of them are from Mexico.
In the first 19 days of May, there had been 4.66 million dollars on television import declarations ( Custom tariff code 8528729000). 73% of them are coming from Mexico, displacing by far those with origin from Panama, China and the United States that had an 8.8%, 8.7% and 8.1% respectively of the imports market so far this month.
The imports from Mexico are totaling $ 3,403,029. Panama with $ 410,774, China with $ 404,811 and Unided States with$ 375,650 cover the 98.6% of all imports.
Toshiba, Samsung, LG and Sony are the brands most imported from Mexico overwhelmingly LCD TVs and Plasma technology between 32 and 55 inches. If we review the importation from China, less well-known equipment brands such as "Proscan" Hyundai or even Hyundai TVs could be found.
