The event will be held at the Hotel Real Intercontinental and is expected to be attended by 500 guests.
Jorge Cortes, president of the International for the International Promotion of Costa Rican Medicine (Promed in Spanish) told Elfinancierocr.com, "For the third time Costa Rica will host the biggest event in medical tourism in Latin America. We hope to have more than 500 attendees and that Costa Rica witll further consolidate itself as the leading destination in the region in terms of health travel. "
The conference that took place in 2011, included representatives from the U.S., Canada, Thailand, Colombia, Guatemala, Panama, Mexico, El Salvador and Argentina.
