DHL Costa Rica Will Process Europe’s Accounting Operations

Starting on September, the company will process the accounting needs of its European operations from Costa Rica.

For this, the company plans to enlarge its payroll from 250 to 315 people. It will look for bilingual professionals in accounting and finance.

Pablo Brenes, director of the company’s service center, told Nacion.com that “the company will hire 35 persons for September, and 30 more for November”.

Office Depot Jobs Moved to Guatemala

Teleservices Companies Eye Honduras For Investing

U.S. based telecommunications companies would invest $30 million in the country in 2010.

This was stated by Eduardo Bueso Hernández, Mayor of San Pedro Sula, after holding meetings with representatives from various U.S. companies.

The visitors toured Altia Bussiness Park, which is under construction, as an alternative for installing their offices.

Tender for Exchange Service in Tocumen Airport

The administrators of the Panamanian airport terminal are working on a tender for provision of a foreign exchange service.

The international tender is expected to be made before the end of this year, said Juan Carlos Pino, manager of Tocumen S.A.

"Enrique Pesantez, a tour operator, believes the currency exchange service at the airport will undoubtedly help tourists in the country because few companies offer this service.
