Dubai Entrepreneurs Interested in Panama

Executives from the Al Ahli Group, a consortium of some 20 companies, arrived in Panama to explore business opportunities.

According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Trade and Industry published in Prensa.com: "The group will be in the country for five days and will hold meetings with various business sectors. The deputy minister of Foreign Trade, Severo Sousa, highlighted Panamanian advantages such as location, modern laws that promote investment and logistics that facilitate business in the region."

Panama Trade Mission visits Nicaragua

Panamanian businessmen forming a trade mission will visit the country from the 24th through the 26th of February.

The project director of the Center for Exports and Investment in Nicaragua (CEI), Maritza Flores Obando, pointed out that they are preparing a broad agenda which includes business roundtables.

Businessmen have said that a business tour to the Caribbean country was successful due to the contacts and trade agreements that were reached.

As a part of the contacts made in the country, they agreed that a delegation from the Dominican Republic will visit Nicaragua shortly to continue the process and to try and complete new business between the parties.

Business Roundtable between Ecuador-El Salvador-Guatemala announced

The event will be held from November 17 to 20 in the city of San Salvador in El Salvador.

The Ecuadoran Minister of Foreign Affairs announce that they will participate in the First Ecuador-El Salvador-Guatemala Business Mission and Business Roundtable .
The meeting came about as a result of an initiative by the Ecuadoran Foreign Ministry, during a video conference between Ecuadoran and Salvadoran business people last March 4 which aroused the interest of members of the the Chamber of Industries in the Andean city of Cuenca, the Ministry indicated in a press release.

El Salvador Aims at $30 Million in Deals at World Fairs

Some 145 Salvadoran companies will participate this year in international fairs, particularly those related to the food and beverage sector.

Some 145 firms, mostly medium and small sized, will participate in trade fairs in Germany, Colombia, Taiwan and Panama, among other countries, and it is expected that deals will be made worth around $30 million.
