El Salvador: $10 million more for infrastructure

The MCC could authorize the additional $10 million that will be invested in development projects in the north of the country.

"The disbursement request (from Fomileno) is for around $10 million," said Vincent J. Ruddy, resident country director for MCC. He added that the approval could be ready no later than the first week of January. "It is under review," he added.

Companies Bid for Water Projects in El Salvador

Fomilenio received bids from companies interested in developing 7 drinkable water projects in the country’s north.

The entity has earmarked $23.67 million for funding these initiatives, and with this process, it completes an initial batch of 10 water projects that will be developed in the country’s northern regions.
