El Salvador Hosts Construexpo 2012

The Construexpo Fair 2012 is entitled "A Commitment to Progress", and aims of promote growth of the industry and boost it’s capacity, being one of the most important source of employment in the country.

Construexpo Committee Chairman 2012, Jorge Sansivirini, explained that the event promotes the sale of all goods, products and services in the different various international exhibition areas which include: Housing Expo, bringing together various housing projects, financial services and real estate; Environments Expo, which brings together the best in furniture and decorations; Machinery Expo, which showcases technology for construction and construction Expo.

For the tenth consecutive time the FerretExpo event is taking place in Guatemala, an occasion on which representatives from the hardware industry in the country present their products, do business and form partnerships with national and international clients.

$10 Million in Deals at Construexpo 2010

The construction fair organized by the Salvadoran Construction Chamber saw business deals for $10 million.

Casalco, the construction chamber, explained that the figure includes deals closed at the fair, and others to happen shortly or in the midterm.

159 companies took part in the trade show, out of which 42 were foreign corporations, reported Casalco.
