A press release from the Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador reads:
The cooperation agreement aims to include El Salvador in the platform operated by this corporation, which has 1,000 points of sales.
With this strategic alliance, valid for one year, a further goal is a 5% increase in the number of Spanish tourists coming to El Salvador in 2012.
El Salvador has put its best foot forward in launching its strategy for worldwide promotion as part of the 32nd. edition of the most important tourism fair in Europe, FUTUR 2012, the Minister of Tourism, Jose Napoleon Duarte Duran, signed a cooperation agreement today with one of the strongest corporate tour operators from Spain, Viva Tours, a company that belongs to the Orizonia group, which is structured along five lines of business: wholesale agencies, retailers, airlines such as Iberia, cruise lines and a network of reciprocal agencies.
The agreement is valid for one year, and has as its main objective to consolidate cooperation initiatives for the promotion of El Salvador as a tourist destination abroad.
