El Salvador and Mexico Seek to Increase Trade

The Mexican-Salvadoran Chamber of Commerce seeks to reactivate trade and investment between the two countries.

As a first step, businessmen from both countries reactivated the bilateral trade chamber in December.

Bernardo Méndez Lugo, from the Mexican embassy in El Salvador, commented that "... up to date, Mexican investment in El Salvador sums $1.3 billion ... Some of the Mexican companies operating in the country are Jumex, Bimbo and Grupo Carso", reported Yucatan.com.mx.
