El Salvador to Host Chinese Trade Fair

The fair will take place starting next Sunday and until the 25th at the International Center for Fairs and Conventions (CIFCO).

Among the products to be displayed at the exhibition are building materials, telecommunications equipment, appliances, vehicles and spare parts, agricultural machinery and handcraft products," reports the article in newspaper "La Prensa Gráfica".

The embassy of China will organize a trade fair in late July.

Over twenty companies from Taiwan will participate in the “Republic of China Taiwan Centennial Fair”, where they will showcase their products and share their successful experiences in international trade.

The fair will also involve Nicaraguan organizations, such as investment promotion agency ProNicaragua, and other entities linked to the export sector and trade with Asia.

FIES 2010 Begins

Starting today and through the 14th of November, the XXIII International Fair of El Salvador (FIES) is taking place.

For this event CIFCA administration received authorization, by the National Legislature, to sell tax free the products exhibited at the fair.

With participation of 23 countries and 250 exhibitors about 100 thousand visitors are expected.
