Eleven Companies Bid for Securities Consulting

The contract comprises advising in the sale of the shares of energy distribution companies Metro-Oeste S.A., Elektra Noroeste S.A. and Chiriquí S.A.

Bidders are mostly foreign and include PA Consulting Smartbiz, Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas, Deloitte and Indesa.

"The winner will be required to valuate the companies' assets to determine their market worth. The entire process is expected to require 18 months, and must begin on July 1st", explained Rodrigo Rodríguez, Asep's electricity director.
