The European companies attending were from the textile, crafts and processed food sectors.
"According to the statistics, 303 meetings were held relating to deals such as organic coffee exports to France, Tillandsia (Bromeliad air plants) and aromatic candles. The option was also left open to review the possibility of increasing industrial shoe exports to Spain," reports Prensa Libre.

The second round of EuroExpo 2010 will take place from 19 to 22 July in Guatemala.
The event was initially scheduled for 31 May to 3 June but was postponed due to the eruption of the Pacaya volcano that led to the closure of Guatemala's international airport for several days.

Gunther Reitzel, president of the Guatemalan-German Chamber of Commerce, explained they expect 30 European businessmen at the event.
“Four thousand visitors are expected to visit over 100 exhibitors and 102 stands of Central American, Guatemalan and European companies, plus a cultural and gastronomic area”, reported Sigloxxi.com.
