The companies Movistar, Claro and Kolbi will come face to face for the first time in at the 2011 event, which is the first held since Costa Rica opened its cell phone market.
It is an opportunity for the companies to reveal their new technologies.
The ExpoTelecom event will take place in the Real Intercontinental Hotel with 50 companies represented and 22 expert speakers on topics relating to the telecommunications industry.
An article in prensalibre.cr comments that the final day of the event will coincide with the Costa Rican government's release of its official National Broadband Plan.
