International Tourism Expo 2011 exceeds all expectations
• International Travel Expo was held in Panama from 23rd to 24th September at the ATLAPA Convention Center . The activity was open to the general public on Saturday 24th.
• The International Tourism Expo 2011, sited in 1,300 square feet, had 113 exhibitors in 140 exhibition modules from 19 countries from the Americas, Europe and the Caribbean.
• During the activity 1.800 business meetings were conducted, of which 800 were coordinated through the innovative online registration system that the organizers have implemented since the first version.

This event, organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), in conjunction with the Chamber of Tourism of Panama (CAMTUR) and the support of the Panama Tourism Authority (PTA), received approximately 3,500 visitors during the 9 hours in which the activity was open to the public.

The event ‘Expo Logistica’ will be held at the ATLAPA Convention Center in Panama, on the 11th and 12th of October 2012.

"EXPO Panama has managed in its five previous versions, to position itself as one of the three major exhibitions in the region and we aim to continue to grow and professionalize the industry locally and internationally via this important series of conferences", said Albert White Eagle, President of the Organizing Committee of EXPO Panama 2012. "The exhibition took an international turn last year when it received representatives from 20 countries, counting both exhibitors and visitors", said White.
