Guatema: $7 Million in Urbanization Project

Company "Desarrollos Integrales para el Progreso" is building project "Hacienda del Comendador", with a total investment of $7 million.

Alfredo Vila, director of the company, explained that 90 lots will be available for sale in the first phase, with prices varying from $19.000 to $24.000.

The project is located on Kilometer 55 of the highway to San Miguel Dueñas, Sacatepéquez, "a strategic point, as there is an important flow of people in Antigua Guatemala and the Southern Coast", commented an expert to Sigloxxi.com.

Costa Rica: New Road Generates Investment

A new urban project, Hacienda Espinal, will be developed on kilometre 17 of the new road to Caldera.

The project, to be developed by the firm Garnier & Garnier, will cover 37 hectares and has an investment for the first phase of $20 million. Included in the construction are residential units, restaurants, a school, a supermarket and offices.

6 Companies Interested in “Manuel Castillo” Residential Project

So far, at least 6 companies have expressed their interest in developing the $25 million project in Panama.

These companies, which must submit their bids on July 7, are Meco, Constructora Novoa, Heymocol-Promocon, Ingeniería Rec, Omega Engineering Inc and Cedeño Consorcio.

Three Companies Bid $95 Million for Curundú Project

Meco, Oderbrecht and Cusa are the three companies still in contention for developing the urban infrastructure project.

All three of them proposed costs around $95 million, from Cusa's bid at $94.933.650 to Meco's at $95.397.750.

According to Prensa.com, "Proyecto Curundú" comprises transforming some 160.000 square meters in the locality of the same name.
