Service Summit 2011 Announced in Guatemala

At the event, Guatemala will open its doors to Presidents of Associations and Chambers of Information in Communication Technologies from 21 countries, suppliers of technology products and services, national and regional media, representatives of national and international government institutions and over 60 international buyers and brokers, all from Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, South America and Europe.

Launching the event at a press press conference Muralles Alfonso, president of the organizing committee of the Service Summit said, "We are confident that Service Summit 2011 will be the opportunity to promote a more unified export supply of Central American Services..."

Besides this event, the Guatemalan Association of Exporters (Agexport) is organizing for its members to take part in the Service Summit convention, where sectors such as call centers, digital content development, sustainable tourism and health, among others, estimate business of $25 million will be done.

The Guatemalan Association of Exporters launched the SERVICE SUMMIT on May 28. It is an Export Services Summit which includes the areas of Contact Center & BPO, Software Export, Laboratories, Health and Wellness Tourism and Sustainable Tourism.
