Guatemalan Exporters’ Association (AGEXPORT) made awards in five categories: New Exporter, Rural Agricultural Collaboration, Manufacturing, Services and Exporter of the Year.
The winners of the other four categories were Kiej de los Bosques, Polímeros y Tecnología (Politec), an association of integrated cooperation and development known as Acodihue in Spanish, and Takalik Maya Lodge respectively, reports Sigloxxi.com.

Exporting companies were invited to participate in the 2010 National Exporting Award.
Organizations will participate in three different categories: agriculture, manufacture and services. The jury will also recognize one company as the Exporter of the year.

Panifresh has received the award for ‘Best Exporter of the Year’ from the Guatemalan Exporters Association (Agexport).
Under the ‘Agricultural Exporter’ category the award went to the El Injerto’ Farm, exporter of one of the best coffees in the world.
Other companies who received awards include, Ixpanpajul National Park Service, Service Exporter and Business Community Forest (Forescom), and the Exporter of Business Chains (Exportador de Encadenamiento Empresarial).
