Guatemala in Cuba Livestock Fair

Between the 2nd and 10th of October, Havana will host the XIV International Agricultural Fair.

Along with Guatemala, other countries that have already confirmed their attendance are: Germany, Sweden, Costa Rica, Panama, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia.

Siglo Veintiuno posts on their web site, "The events agenda, suspended in 2009, includes lectures and livestock skill competition, auctions and a rodeo championship, with participation of about 200 thousand animals, organizers said today during a press conference.”

Panama to Host the International Livestock Congress

The XVI International Brahman Congress will take place in Panama City from July 2nd to July 7th, 2012.

Pedro Vallarino, president of the organizing committee, told EFE that they seek to establish in Panama internationally accredited laboratories for genetic research.

"Vallarino said the congress, which will have an investment of about two million dollars, will also be a good opportunity to show the services Panama offers to visiting businessmen, participating in search of business opportunities," published Terra.com.
