Organized by the Union of Manufacturers of Footwear and Allied Products, it will bring together industry representatives from throughout Central America. Organizers expect the presence of some 7,000 people and that about $10 million worth of businesses will be done.
"This is the only event of its kind in Central America, a space to showcase products made in Guatemala and Central America.
It will feature an exhibition area of raw materials, art equipment, machinery, plastics, leather, soles and shoe horns, among many other items for the footwear industry.
The exhibition area will be about eight thousand square meters and there will be a conference room, a restaurant area, and 251 stalls, of which 35 will show finished products, and 116 raw materials".

The Chamber of Industry of Guatemala will hold the industrial fair from the 21st to the 24th of June at the Industrial Park.
The organizers aim to engage 10.000 businessmen and to enhance the attractiveness of the region from the industrial perspective.

The industrial trade fair in Guatemala conducted 1,120 business meetings in which deals worth $100 million were struck.
The figure exceeded the $15 million originally expected by its organizer, the Guatemalan Chamber of Industry, and it was visited by 8,000 people, 2,000 more than expected.
