Guatemala to hold a food fair in September

The fair, which showcases the food and beverage sector, will exhibit the best products, services, equipment, and advances that have been achieved by specialized companies in the food sector.
More than 150i companies are scheduled to take part, and more than 8,000 visitors are expected.

Central American Techno Food Fair

The regional food sector will be meeting in Guatemala for the fifth Central American Industrial Techno Food Exhibition 2012, on the 29th and 30th of May.

In the event, which will be held at the Westin Camino Real, Guatemala, 80 exhibitors will take part along with between 1,800 to 2,000 visitors, reported Prensalibre.com.

Salvador Contreras, president of the fair’s organizing committee, said they expect some 12 thousand people to visit the event, which is being held at the Hotel Tikal Futura.

Tecnoalimentaria 2009 Begins

From today until May 27, the 2009 edition is expected to bring together 40 companies in the Industrial Park in Guatemala.

It will be attended by companies from Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, the United States and El Salvador.

Sigloxxi.com reported statements by Carlos Anzueto, the general manager of Osmosis (the organizing company): "The exhibition hall will consist of 50 stands in which companies that supply machinery, equipment, utensils and accessories, as well as raw materials , ingredients, packaging materials, cleaning products and systems, training services, consulting, export, transport and laboratory analysis will present their products."

Food trade show in San Pedro Sula

The culinary exhibition to be held on May 8 and 9 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, is still receiving participating companies.

The fair will bring together food, banquet and gastronomy experts, and it is an opportunity for exhibitors to interact with guests, creating brand positioning.
