Hard Rock Hotel in Panama by Year End

Panama will be the first country in Latin American to have a hotel by the U.S. chain Hard Rock International.

With an investment exceeding $250 million, the hotel will have 1499 hotel rooms on its 66 floors.

Jorge Loaiza, from Decameron, one of the companies developing the project said, "Among the innovations that the Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megapolis will have is a club bar on the 62nd floor, a store shop, and 796 rock star suites, which are exclusive to the Hard Rock. $40 million for luxury hotel in Panama

September 2008

The Nations Hotel, designed by Musa Asvat, will be 26 floors high and will be located between Street 51 and Street 50.

It will be marketed as a condo-hotel with prices starting at 139,000 dollars. Construction is slated to start in November or December and the Hotel should open its doors in 2001.

New Marriott Resort in Panama

Situated on the Pacific, 55 kilometers from Panama City, will be the new Panama Marriott Resort Casamar, a 5 star hotel with 180 rooms in several interconnected buildings.

Marriott Hotels & Resorts have announced plans to develop a 180-room hotel in the resort community Casamar on the Pacific coast of Panama.

Colombian Hotel Chain Invests in Central America

March 2012

The Colombian Decameron Group is expanding its investments in Latin America in 2012, including the opening of two hotels in Costa Rica and one in Panama.

In Costa Rica, Decameron will open this year a 330-room Royal Decameron Irazu in San Jose, and one in Jaco Beach, with 130 rooms.

$246 million for hotel in Panama

November 2008

Nortia Real State, Manuel Lao's real estate company and who is president of the Cirsa Group, will invest in a big hotel in Panama City.

Manuel Lao spoke about the project last night at a dinner which included several important figures on economics and finance from Barcelona. He also mentioned that the project will also have the support of the second vice president of Panama, Ruben Arosemena.
