Honduras to Host Expo Imagen 2009

The Professional Advertising and Marketing Trade Show will be carried out from September 24 to 26, in the Convention Center of the Hotel Honduras Maya.

For this year's edition, Expo Imagen will have a new space for Micro, Small and Medium companies.

"SMEs will have an area in the fair, dedicated exclusively to benefit small and micro entrepreneurs with activities directly related to the fair's scope", reported newspaper El Heraldo.

New York and LA to host Guatemalan fairs

For the second straight year, a Guatemalan Fair (La Feria Chapina) is to be held in New York, the promotion company Evefer announced. This year's event will be held from June 27 to 29.

A Guatemalan Fair will also be held in Los Angeles from August 22 to 24, said Juan Luis Martínez, Evefer's president.

Panama to Participate in 21 Fairs in 2012

The country will participate in 21 international fairs specializing in agricultural products, logistics, food, handicrafts and more.

As of October 2011 the value of contracts signed at fairs amounted to $660 million, $34 million more than in the same period in 2010.

Irma Vanessa Chong, general manager of Commercial Missions of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MITI), noted that new destinations have been identified for Panamanian exports (the Nordic countries, Russia, Japan).

Ferretexpo 2010 Begins

The ninth edition which starts today and lasts until the 14th of November includes 130 exhibitors.

Ferretexpo is clearly a trade show and its sales significantly impacts the market, for 2010 it is expected to achieve a turnover of over U.S. $ 10 million.

Ferretexpo is held in the Tikal Futura Convention Center in an area of 6,000 square meters.
