Electronics, services, industrial goods such as metalworking, green technologies and research are some of the sectors that will participate in the event.

The purpose of the activity is to promote Costa Rica as an emerging market for high value-added investment and bring the whole supply chain in one single place, explained Emmanuel Hess, Foreign Trade Promoter (Procomer) manager.

The first edition of the service export event brought together around 500 businesspeople from 23 countries around the world.

According to estimates by the Foreign Trade Promoter (PROCOMER), there were 40 strategic alliances in the sector of information and communication technology, 9 in architecture and construction, 13 for audiovisual and 10 for medical tourism during the two days of the meeting.

Costa Rica: Agricultural Products Marketed in U.S.

In Los Angeles, U.S., a Costa Rican agricultural trade mission is exploring new markets and clients.

Nine companies from the sector are participating in the mission, which spans from Tuesday 4 to Thursday 6. During the Los Angeles visit, organized by the Export Promotion Agency of Costa Rica (Procomer), these companies will meet with three large supermarket chains and fresh products buyers.
