Grupo Asesor en Informatica provided support for the development of IT project for tax and revenue management
"The Computerworld Honors Program" gave a recognition to a technological project in which the Costa Rican company Grupo Asesor en Informatica was involved.
It is an IT system developed for the Ministry of Finance of Costa Rica, called "New Models of Digital Integrated Tax and Revenue Management", which drew in the category of using technology to benefit society.
"The system developed and implemented is an integrated model of digital tax and revenue management and one of its main objectives is to make a greater and better fiscal control and thus reduce tax evasion", explained Dixiana Loaiza Jimenez, head of the Trade Area in Grupo Asesor en Informatica.
The Ministry of Finance of Costa Rica contracted Grupo Asesor en Informatica to support the internal project team on the business process modeling, requests for proposal, elaboration and evaluation, feasibility studies and project management.
Grupo Asesor en Informatica was involved in the process of developing the project since 2006.
"The Computerworld Honors Program” belongs to the Computerworld Information Technology Awards Foundation and provides recognition to organizations that make outstanding use of information and communication technologies (ICT).
