Luxury developer Bolívar spreads its wings beyond El Salvador

El Salvador's Inversiones Bolívar continues to invest in high-end housing, not only in its own country but in the rest of Central America.

Its most recent project, Torres 105 Campestre, twin towers with a total of 100 apartments, was inaugurated last week in San Salvador where it has already become an urban icon.
Next on the list is Honduras, where 325 Río Piedras is a similar complex now under construction in an exclusive area of San Pedro Sula.

Honduras: $25 Million Investment in Real Estate Project

The first 21-floor tower of the development “325 Rio de Piedras” from Inversiones Bolivar will be completed by June of 2009.

With a $25 million investment, the construction of the Torre Sur, the first of two towers in the complex “325 Rio Piedras,” is planned to be completed in mid-2009. Currently, 65% of the luxury apartments in the tower have been sold.

Guatemalan design professionals work with salvadorean capital in an apartment development in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Guatemalan design firm LAKP Diseño & Desarrollo (www.lakp.net) has been retained by Grupo Bolívar, from El Salvador, for the interior development of 325 Río Piedras apartment building in San Pedro Sula.

Intur Group’s Real Estate Projects

Accival, the real estate area of the Honduran company, invested $10.5 million in 2008 and $16 million in 2009 in real estate projects.

Intur Group has diversified its business with greater emphasis on the world of construction through Accival for five years. Beyond the ideal spaces built for restaurants, its projects include other concepts ranging from shopping malls to a modern office center as well as storage areas, apartment condominiums and townhouses.

The Salvadoran company has three new projects in El Salvador, where it will build housing and divide entire areas into lots.

Inversiones Bolívar projects comprise 469 blocks. Diego de Sola, CEO, announced that while the projects haven't started yet, everything is planned and en route.
