When we hear ourselves say "I did not have time for lunch" or "I still have 30 emails to answer," we must stop and analyze what we are doing wrong; surely we are transmitting to the company that aching feeling of continuous pressure which weakens the ability to think.

In his analysis on Americaeconomía.com, Judith Laguardia warns that "hardly the quality of our work is based on speed, and much less on urgency. It is more important what and how, than how quickly".

The cost of reactive management is the opportunities which are lost in the heat of solving the everyday problems. The adoption of best practices based on a set of proven processes and accepted by industry will help organize the daily work and achieve true managerial efficiency.
