The 1st. MesoAmerican Business Meeting will bring together businessmen from Guatemala, Belize, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, The Dominican Republic and Mexico to present products, conduct business meetings and understand the business needs of each of these countries as well as being informed about legal requirements and success stories of foreign companies doing business in the region.

The event is organized by the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology, AC (COMCE) a business organization focused on promoting foreign trade, in conjunction with the National Chamber of Transformation Industries (CANACINTRA) and the Chamber of Commerce Mexico-Colombia.

For four days, employers will have the opportunity to attend lectures where they can find out about the legal requirements for national import-export, niche market business opportunities, the main products representative of each of these countries as well as do business with their counterparts . Also, in this business meeting, each company will have the opportunity to present their product in an exhibition which will be mounted in the format of a fair by organized by national pavilions which will have more than 100 stands in total.

Costa Rica Expects 205 International Buyers

September 2011

Costa Rica will hold on September 6 and 7 of the XIII Buyers Trade Mission with the participation of representatives of some 205 companies from 31 countries.

240 small and medium local enterprises (SMEs) from the agricultural, industrial, food and metalworking sectors, among others, will take part in the meeting.
