Microsoft To Open Innovation Center in Panama

It will focus on tourism software and be subordinate to the ParcBit center set up one year ago in the Balearic Islands.

In the next few weeks, Francesc Antich, president of the Government of Mallorca (Spain), will sign an agreement with Panamanian President Ricardo Martinelli to create the center in the Central American country.

Enterate.com reported that the center will work on the technology created in the islands, and that these will be the only facilities of their type in the world.

From September Global TSC hopes to be operating a pilot training and simulation center.

With an investment of more than $1.5 million, the center seeks to become a focus for pilot training throughout Central America.

The president of Global TSC, Julio Planas Gómez, commented that the training and simulation center will feature state-of-the-art technology and a team of highly specialized personel, reports Prensa.com.
