New Movie Theaters in Costa Rica

The four rooms in the CitiCinemas complex, located in the Plaza Coral Mall, can accommodate 316 people. One of the rooms is for 3D films.

Victoria Padilla, Investment Marketing Manager for Kopper informed La Nación newspaper that the company plans to operate a VIP lounge at the new complex.

Miguel Mier, chief operating officer at Cinépolis, said the complex has capacity for 1757 people, and includes a screen with XE Macro technology, which cost $850,000.

The opening of the VIP area at Cinepolis, is a part of the strategy of the Mexican company to consolidate itself in the Panamanian market; said strategy includes opening new theaters at several commercial centers.
