Exponica 2009, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Nicaragua and the Chamber of Industries, aims to publicize Nicaraguan product offers both locally and internationally and to make international contacts that will help increase exports.

Additionally, experts from Taiwan and Brazil will hold conferences "for Nicaraguan entrepreneurs wishing to innovate and implement local creativity."

Elnuevodiario.com.ni website published: "There will be a total of 80 modules in the event and they are intended to help increase the business contacts of Nicaraguan firms, and help them to increase entrepreneurial efficiency and productivity."

With 80 companies participating from Nicaragua, Mexico, Brazil, and Taiwan the industrial expo is developing in Nicaragua.

This is the first time that an international expo has been organized by the two business chambers, the Nicaraguan Chamber of Industry (Cadin, acronym in Spanish) and the Nicaraguan Chamber of Commerce (Caconic, acronym in Spanish).

Under the slogan “Innovation, Efficiency, and Productivity,” the event will take place from July 1st – 4th and will be held at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center.

The expo is being organized by Cadin and the Nicaraguan Chamber of Commerce, Caconic, with the special participation of Pro Nicaragua, an agency that promotes investment.

Guatemala: InduExpo in June

The Chamber of Industry of Guatemala will hold the industrial fair from the 21st to the 24th of June at the Industrial Park.

The organizers aim to engage 10.000 businessmen and to enhance the attractiveness of the region from the industrial perspective.


Arturo Zimeri, from the Chamber of Industries of Guatemala, noted that the event will showcase the value of each country's industry from a regional perspective.

China Popular promotes industrial fair in Honduras

The Honduras-China Chamber of Commerce and Investements has announced an all-China trade fair kin San Pedro Sula on Sept. 21.

Among the 200 companies expected to participate will be banking interests and construction firms that have built hydroelectric projects in countries like Belize and Colombia.
