Nicaraguan businessmen propose growth

Businessmen from the private sector have offered several considerations for the Government's economic and social policies, during the celebration for the Entrepreneur's Day.

This time around, instead of talking about competitiveness, value chains, productivity, or production costs, business persons and the Government have focused on the high levels of poverty in the country and they agree that the answer must not come from just one side.
Businessmen once again demanded that free trade be upheld, that the countries democratic rules be guaranteed and that the Judicial Branch be free of the influence of political parties.

Honduran businessmen ask for more resources from the banks

Local businessmen have started to line up hoping to get credit from the banks.

The president of the Honduran Council of Private Companies (Cohep), Amilcar Bulnes, commented that banks have less resources for loans to finance the production, construction and purchase of raw materials compared to last year.
