Pacific Hotel Boom in Panama

The construction of hotel projects such as Buenaventura, Breezes, Playa Blanca, and Decameron Royalton Luxury have contributed more than 2,500 rooms to the sector.

For Jorge Loaiza, from Decameron, some of the factors that have contributed to the development of the area are the weather (there is little rainfall) and easy access by road.

An article in Panamaamerica.com.pa states, "For Maru Galvez, CEO of the newly built Royalton Luxury hotel, room demand is growing.

He noted that this 300-room resort has been built with an investment of 30 million dollars.

The hotel has, 80% of capacity reserved for the New Year period. "
