Panama: $16.5 million for Mine Gold

Golden Phoenix has announced that it has signed two credit instruments with Waterton Global, of a value of $16.5 million for the purchase and development of the Santa Rosa gold mine.

In a press release, the company explained that it used $1 million bridge loan in order to complete the 45 day due diligence required to buy a stake of up to 60% in the mining project.

Golden Phoenix, based in Nevada, also signed a framework loan of $15.5 million, backed by the output of gold from the project, which will enable it to accelerate the funding and development of the mine.

Canadian corporation Petaquilla Minerals, owner of the gold Mine Molejón, placed shares for $11.5 million.

In a press release, Petaquilla announced it has negotiated a non-brokered private placement of 24.000.000 common shares at a price of Canadian $0.50 per share ($0.48) for gross proceeds of Canadian $12.000.000 ($11.510.00).

Nicaragua: Mining Concessions Swap

Under the agreement between the two companies the concessions known as "La India" and "Espinito San Pablo" will be unified under the name "La India Gold" and will be owned 80% by Condor and 20% by B2Gold Corp.

Nicaraguan Gold Mine Production Increases

"La Libertad" gold mine, owned by B2Gold Corp, could increase its production and operating life.

The company announced the results of exploratory drilling, which indicates the possibility of increasing current production, which stands at 80.000-90.000 ounces of gold annually.

Canadian Company to Buy Panamanian Gold Mine

Pershimco Resources Inc. will acquire interests of up to 85% in the Cerro Quema Gold Mining Project.

Pershimco Resources Inc. announced the signing of a Letter of Intent for the acquisition of interests of up to 85% in the Cerro Quema gold mining project. The transaction will be concluded through the acquisition of shares of a Panamanian company, Minera Cerro Quema S.A.
