The meeting will be held at the Hotel Riu Plaza Panama, Panama City, from February 13th to 16th 2011.

X Panama Maritime offers world class exhibition and speakers as well as experts and officials from leading industries and governments.

It will cover environmental initiatives, financial challenges and operational issues and include a unique range of technical visits to port facilities, locks of the Panama Canal and the extraordinary progress of works at the expansion site of the Panama Canal.

Panama Maritime IX to be held in February 2009

This national and international conference is considered to be one of the most important maritime events in Latin America and the Caribbean.

It will be held in Panama City from February 9-11, 2009. It is organized by the Panama Maritime Law Association, which has a membership of more than 200 local lawyers, along with the Maritime Chamber which represents more than 100 maritime companies, the Panama Canal Authority and the Panama Maritime Authority.

TOC Americas 2011 Panama Begins

The TOC Container Supply Chain Americas conference will be held November 15-17 at the El Panama hotel, Panama City.

With the theme of "Redefining the logistics scene in the region," the three-day conference will seek to discover a source of revenue for the much-needed infrastructure improvements throughout the region, to understand the connectivity of land transport networks, and to develop strategies for coping with continuing increases in the volume and size of ships.

Panama Hosts International Investment Conference

March 2010

The event will take place on March 24th and gathers businessmen, politicians and investors.

It is organized by the World Bank and the Council of the Americas.

“The forum intends to promote investments in strategic areas such as logistics, agriculture and tourism”, reported Prensa Latina. “Panama will use the event to showcase its advantages as a hub for regional headquarters of multinational corporations”.
