Popeyes Food Chain Arrives Costa Rica

Supported in the country by Danube Investments, the first Popeye Louisiana Kitchen restaurant will open.

Victor Ruiz, director of franchise operations, said that plans for the next two years include the opening of seven new restaurants, estimating an investment of about $ 6 million.

"This chain has about 2,000 outlets in 30 countries including Honduras, Panama, Puerto Rico and the United States", commented the article in Nacion.com.

New Investments by McDonald's in El Salvador

The fast food chain has announced it is opening six new restaurants in 2012.

Luis Gonzalez, operations manager for McDonald's in El Salvador said the investment plan for next year also includes opening a McCafe in every restaurant in the country.

"Gonzalez said it has not yet been decided where the next coffee shop will be opened.

McDonald's Opens Restaurant in El Salvador

The fast food chain inaugurated its eleventh restaurant in the country, located in Antiguo Cuscatlán.

Since September 9th, McDonald's franchise in El Salvador is operated by Guatemalan group McDonald's Mesoamérica.

"This will be McDonald's 11th restaurant in the country, and will increase its workforce to 500 employees. 4 additional restaurants will be opened next year", reports newspaper La Prensa Gráfica.
