Most independent professionals and small business owners must –either we like it or not- spend a substantial amount of time making commercialization efforts. To capture clients, we are constantly in the need of developing and promoting our brand and products. One of the best ways of doing it is frequently ignored: public speaking.

A study by the University of New South Wales, in Australia, found that a mild negative mood can help us think in more careful and systematic ways.
