Commercialization of residential areas at economic area Panama Pacífico will start on January 2010.

125 duplex residences will be built in the first stage, out of the total 20.000 planned for the project.

Filling of Artificial Panamanian Islands Begins

Two artificial islands will be located between the grounds of the former Marcos A. Gelabert Airport and the ATLAPA Convention Center.

The project, which was awarded to the ICA-Panama company, is part of a contract signed with the State in 1996 to "design, build, maintain and operate the expressway, which also included the transfer of 29.5 acres of the then Marcos Gelabert de Paitilla Airport," according to an Article in Pa-digital.com.

Rodblu and Stitchkin, a Costa Rican-Chilean company, will start the construction of a residential complex in June.

It will be located in Barreal de Heredia, and will comprise two towers, one 11 stories high and the other 21. The first should be ready by June 2011, while the second is planned for March 2013.

It is located next to Multiplaza mall, and features 87 apartments, two penthouses and two parking levels.

“The building is part of the Multiplaza complex, which includes a business zone, a corporate center with three business buildings, two apartment towers and a hotel”, reported Elsalvador.com.

Bijao Beach Residential Resort for $28 million

65 minutes from Panama City, the resort has 227 m2 houses and 117 m2 apartments, a golf course, swimming pools and sports fields.

The project Bijao Beach project has advanced the Villas Miraflores complex with single-family homes and apartments, which occupies 7.5 hectares in an area located 65 minutes west of Panama City.
