Solid Group Negotiates Loan with IFC for Paint Factory

The future plant will be located in Escuintla and will start operations next year. Requiring a total investment of $16 million, it will be the largest of its kind in Central America.

“It will allow Solid to enable new production lines, such as aerosol production, which were previously imported from China. It will also help them increase their installed capacity from 10 to 26 million gallons of paint per year, and 6 million resin pounds per year”, reported Elperiodico.com.gt.
