Llorente & Cuenca conducted a study on the online presence of the leading companies of Panama and Central America. A total 55 companies participated in the analysis: the top 30 companies by net income and 25 leading companies in various industry sectors.

The main findings of the study are:

1. Most Central American companies don't take advantage of the strategic value of having relevant keywords associated to their business

2. 80% of the companies of the region do not worry by the presence of their leading executives in Internet.

3. Telecomm is the sector with the most online presence in the region.

4. Social networks are boosting the popularity of Central American companies.
